The 2012 election is firming up to become a clear choice in the direction we move as a country.
We have the Republican-Romney/Ryan vision of starving the government and creating an atmosphere of greed, us versus them, and every man for himself.
Or we have the Democratic-Obama/Biden vision that we are all in this together. We either sink or swim as a united group. We cherish individuality but we also "promote the general welfare."
What would our founding father's have to say?
We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.
Benjamin Franklin
E pluribus unum (Out of many, one)

A house divided against itself cannot stand.
Abraham Lincoln (quoting Mark 3:25).
You get the drift.
