They might have accrued for it but their real problem is funding their turnaround with CASH right? Earnings are not the problem but cash might be. Any settlement monies wont come from the tooth fairy. Do they have to sell patents or borrow money? If you think any settlement will be no big deal for Nokia you are crazy. Not at this point with their current prospects.

Nokia will never settle, at least not at a fair rate. I just don't understand why, after all these years, anyone...and I mean ANYONE would think differently.
This is a fight to the death. It always has been. These clowns where paid MILLIONS and MILLIONS, aaaannnddd MILLIONS by the French. They are shipping products, getting paid, AND MAKING ACCRUALS for A/P royalties.
The only way nokia will pay is after a court ordered import ban. THAT's IT!
My children will enjoy IDCC more than me. That's okay.
