Same with my parents. Same with me.

But the smartest financial move I've made was probably five years or less ago, when I decided to start spending everything I would have saved from that point forward.

I still have what I'd saved to that point, but I'm no longer trying to grow my savings. Better to put the money into things that retain their value. Dollars are for SUCKERS.
