I have reached the end of my rope with my spine doctor.
I went through THREE spinal epidural shots with no help as well as 4 physical therapy sessions only to wind up in more pain than before I went.

Last office visit on Wednesday last week he wants me to go to AQUATIC therapy. He thinks me being in water will hurt less.

Uhhh, doc, what about AFTER I get out of the water?????

He does not want to operate.

SOOOOOO,

I called the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and asked them for a referral locally. They gave me the Mayfield Clinic here in town and a Dr. Thomas Saul, who is a renowned neurosurgeon.

The Mayfield clinic, http://www.mayfieldclinic.com/

has a HOST of top notch neurosurgeons.
You can read Dr. Saul's BIO under OUR TEAM tab on the web site.

I called their office, talked with his aide, who in a matter of minutes sent me an online form to fill out and return, and within minutes after that, his office manager called me.

I have been placed on a priority consult, which means that within three business days of his having received my X-rays and MRI films, his staff will call me with his plan for treatment and set up an appointment.

My desire is for a permanent correction of these bulging and deteriorating discs, which are rubbing on nerves. That should be a procedure they describe oin their site as "minimally invasive" and is very quick recovery time.

Please pray along these lines.

I am really desirous of a permanent solution so I can regain my every day normal activities again.
Therapy is NOT the solution and neither is taking spinal shots that do not work, are very expensive, and only last at most two years for the best of circumstances of those times they actually do work.

I need some type of surgical repair as my spine is a mess with three bulging discs and arthritis, and scoliosis in three places.

Maybe I played too much football in high school days and too much softball after that. I simply do not envision my life as being pain meds and anti-inflammatory medicines until I die.

That's where I am at with the back.

Anyway, I will try and rectify the video card thing as quickly as I can. I'll look for a replacement card as quickly as I can.

Thanks team. You guys are the best.
