yeah. i think the dems have a much deeper bench.

if anything, ryan turned out to be a liarbility [sic]. mrs romney is nice, but not especially deep, far as i can tell.

So, Obama can roll out: Michelle, Clinton, Biden, and the various regional folks.

Mitt has: Not Bush, Not Cheney, Maybe Ann, Ryan, and the local folks.

Michelle, Clinton and Biden is very formidable. I'm not sure Ann or Ryan have much value nationally, Ryan may help in WI and IA.

So I want WI and IA numbers.

**and team Obama seems to have a remarkable ability to be granular in their approach. They rarely put the wrong person in the wrong demographic or region. I know the vote is for the top of the ticket in the end, but I would not want to have to face Michelle, Biden, and Clinton as opposing surrogates.
