I'm wondering if neo-cons are feeling now what dems were feeling in 2004. I mean, in general GW was no fave of the dems, to many it was visceral. Same the other way this time. Both times both camps thought continuation of the incumbent would be catastrophic (that being the case in the estimation of many re:2004). The thinking in both cases being : certainly it can't be possible for this guy to get re-elected.
