I just wonder why the Democratic Party thinks it's OK to require ID for each of the delegates (who are supposed to be eligible voters) to attend the Convention, but think it's WRONG to require ID for each voter at the polls (some of which were delegates at the convention). I'm not talking about the tickets to the event, or pre-registration - I'm talking about showing an ID at the door.
I honestly don't see a whole lot of difference. Yes, I realize this is a high-security event, so a lot of things are adapted to that end.

What is the point of rules that are not enforced?
