Please explain how we are to rationalize that...
I suppose it's because in order to get a Concealed Carry Permit, you probably have to provide a photo ID (I know that's the case in VA). Of course, you should still HAVE a photo ID when you go vote, so why the heck can't you use it (instead of the CCP)? Got me.
Or is TX's CCP a photo ID? In VA, it's not - and you are required to carry a photo ID with it, in fact.
I would think if you can produce a document that has the same name and address as your voter registration, you should be allowed to vote. Preferably a photo ID, but any sort of identification should work, in my opinion. People who truly steal identities usually do so for financial gain, not so they can vote in someone else's election.

What is the point of rules that are not enforced?
