2012 is clearly not 2008 in excitement levels, and it just seems the pols need to go with naked cheerleaders.
Before I get slaughtered as this or that chauvinist, I don't think the gender of the cheerleader matters in the least bit.
I tried to watch a bit of the RNC, and I am uncertain if I have ever seen anything more drab.
They need naked cheerleaders (gender unimportant).
I remember Mario Cuomo giving a DNC speech one day, and left or right, naked or not, that guy can deliver. It says something when one can say that, were Mr Cuomo to have been naked, his content would have been no more or less electrifying. Nakedness, should he have gone that route, would still have been only an afterthought to any viewer. Again, the fact is, that man could deliver. I was standing in a pub during that speech. There were all sorts of people, skinheads, terrorists, pacifists, and tripolar homosexuals ... and everybody, everybody was silent ... they listened to an orator, they loved or they hated, some I imagine masturbated .... but they were one and all transfixed.
The guy had passion.
I saw another guy give a speech at a DNC event, and when I saw that guy give that speech I said (and I have witnesses) I said, wholly crap, that guy is going to be President some day.
I was laughed at, the guy was black. It wasn't going to happen. Years later, it did.
I am happy that they keep their clothes on, Christie, Obama, Rice, Cheney, Mittens, ... I don't think any of them would eek a ratings bump of even a point with or without their clothes.
But none have anything worth hearing.
So, what must be, must be, and what must be is naked cheerleaders (gender unimportant).
There was a day when I would say to my kids ... you need to watch this, you need to listen to this. This human is speaking and this human represents a lot.
Last week I got Ryan, Christie and Ann. I actually cannot remember even one word, one notion, one thought or one consideration.
Can it really suck this much? Will the dems roll their show and it similarly suck this much.
Fuck me people! Is this what we are left with?
Naked cheerleaders. That too, I will sleep through.
