He was also creating the persona that he was arguing with....

Which has been the Republicans' problem all along.

Makes for good comedy.... but not accurate.

How many times have you heard the president say "Go f*^k yourself!"?

I've never heard that from Obama. Have you?

I've heard it from Cheney on the floor of the Senate, though. But I've never heard it from Obama...

And yet Eastwood's chair said that twice.

Maybe Clint had Obama confused with Dick Cheney.

And therein lies the essential inaccuracy of arguing with an empty chair...... you can make the chair say anything you want it to say

which, as I said... is exactly the problem of today's Republicans... they've created a black Kenyan Muslim angry socialist.... who tells them to go f*&k themselves..... and their imaginary Obama is driving them crazy.... so crazy, in fact, that eliminating him has become their number one priority.

Clint picked the perfect metaphor.

Yes, he picked the perfect metaphor for today's republican party....

An old white guy arguing with an imaginary Obama.

What you may not see.... is that it's easy to win an argument with a chair.... especially when you can make the chair say what you want it to say.

But good luck with that nonsense.
