Hi dig,

that is why i am not on the same side as she is.

but she has a heart (eg her views on education)nand she makes coherent statements on top of her basic assumptions.

but people rarely challenge their premises and when they do, it seems to take years and decades more than days.

ask doma - he thinks we're all complacent in our assumptions about the universe. and i daresay he is partly correct. there is an extent to which i think i am not open-minded and i keep trying to work on that.

While I am repeatedly impressed with Ms Rice's intellectual skills, I find Ms Rice to only be one of answers, to never be one of questions.

To me, it is an automatic disqualifier.

A lack of challenging the premise. I really don't care how flawless the reasoning is after the false premise.
