Even Faux News was not happy with the tone or content of Christie's 'keynote' speech (or should I say, "I'll be here in 4 years when you need me..." speech):
You can't help but get the feeling that people like Christie and Santorum are keeping their options open for 2016 since I suspect that in their hearts they're convinced that the Romney/Ryan ticket will lose. However, if they win, they also know that they've lost their last shots at the White House since this would put Paul Ryan in the front seat for 2020 and so any challenge on their part would be seen as being bad for the party.
