Iowa’s delegation at the Republican National Convention cast 22 of its 28 votes for Ron Paul – nearly 79 percent of the delegation. That’s the same Ron Paul who came in third in the Iowa caucuses with 21.5 percent of the vote.
Only one state, Minnesota, had a higher percentage of Ron Paul delegates, with 33 votes out of 40. Paul received a total of 189 votes.
As secretary of the convention, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds of Iowa was calling the roll of each state. A deputy secretary announced the vote after each state – but only the vote for Mitt Romney. Paul needed six states to put his name in nomination.
The Texas delegation, wearing light-colored cowboy hats, started shouting out the vote total for Paul after each state, and the cry was picked up by others in the hall.

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.
