Just ran across this term while reading a Jeffery Deaver novel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rational_irrationality I found it helpful in my attempt to understand some individuals' holding steadfast positions that I find illogical. I suspect you all are familiar w/ it, while it was new to me.
