It's just plain difficult to manipulate and make any money when it is under a buck. How many times have we seen this countdown to ecstacy before? Is Wave using ATM money purchased at 50 cents a share to now try and prop up the prices by buying over a dollar? Now that would be a pip!
To the extent that the $1 thing is interesting is that it shows the whole damn price thing is a game between a few motivated groups of traders fighting over a line in the sand rather than a robust market reflecting a sensible value for the company generated by a large pool of knowledgeable investors.
