This is a case of persisting in an area where while he had data, he lacked causality. In some ways components of clean causality are still absent, but what with CJD and so on, Sweden gave him the nod.

The guy is very energetic about his work, almost forgetting to eat his burrito as he gets all pumped about his stuff.

The transgenic prion model that supposedly demonstrated causality suffers (or suffered, I don't followed this) from the necessary expression of the aberrant form, thus not really closing the deal on form conversion.

But it is all very good stuff, and a number of his peers were a bit flummoxed with the prize given that to the very critical mind that last yard had not been closed. Confused
