History shows us that all FIAT currencies have ultimately
been mishandled into hyperinflation & outright theft by
the central banks that issued them & the governments that
enforced them.....

We learn today that RBS lent out $4 Billion to a Billionaire,
who then defaults on the entire loan which is then dumped
onto the tax payer. The Billionaire is worth $6 Billion, lives in
a $80 million mansion but apparently has no assets the
bank or taxpayer can recoup........But the banks go after
the sheeple for a dime of debt........but they do let them
vote every 4-5 years..Smile

No question that fiat money can be mishandled. And the biggest problem fiat money can experience is hyperinflation, which reflects a diminution in value of the currency.

Way I see it, it isn't fiat money which is a problem. It is the underlying monetary policy. It is this in which people place faith. And yes, this is sometimes poorly managed.

But as you know by now, this isn't a problem with the USD which is highly valued these days, reflecting the fact that people place a good deal of faith in the performance of the Federal Reserve.
