a person who spells typos (pl) with an apostrophe is hardly going to notice that $100s has no apostrophe, that gets also has no apostrophe or that it's (in the non-possessive form) does have one.
Let alone that it is worth being consistent from one sentence to the next whether you should capitalise the word "encryption" or that you don't need to repeat the word NIST.
I was ever so slightly amused he chose to make himself the arbiter of the correct use of punctuation in an incorrectly punctuated sentence. I'm no grammar nazi. but i can laugh at the irony.
