After two weeks, I have had only partial success with that last Spinal epidural shot.
Doc says that we will do one more next Thursday morning at Ten a.m.
He will use a different type of steroid from the last one to see if this will help pick up the remainder of the inflammation or keep that area from getting that way.
If it is not successful, then we are looking at the surgery.
He will consult with the other spinal surgeons in the group in the meantime.
I begin therapy tomorrow to help stretch this out, so they say.
I guess I'll be taking two pain pills either before or after as doing anything pretty well dooms me for a few days of pure agony. If I don't do anything I seem to be okay. That is why it is partially successful. At least by being absolutely sedentary I am not in pain..
So that is a change.
Anyway, I am at least going to head this off one way or the other soon. Doc is in favor of doing whatever it takes to get me well and out of pain and living again, which I like.
So, Thursday next week it is at the outpatient surgical center yet again for the third time. My car can get there on auto-pilot now.
Before then I will try to get in a couple two or three therapy sessions to see what impact other than wreaking pain on me it will do.
