By legitimate rape, apparently he meant forcible rape.

I can see that this is possible.

Doesn't explain how a guy who has an opinion on rape thinks it doesn't cause pregnancy.

What's going on here looks like a different species of dishonesty. He is willing to diminish the existence of facts which argue against his principles.

Now why is that a familiar theme?
