I think it is important to look upon conspiracy theories with a high degree of skepticism. After all, is is VERY difficult to keep a conspiracy quiet. Someone always opens their mouth about it.
That's not to say that they don't exist, but they're rare. The bigger they are, the more complex they are, the less BELIEVABLE they are.
