If any of this is reliable, which is certainly in question for some of us, we can at last get a sense of bulk price and volume in the DoD.
Price per unit is $30 to $40. This is about half to a third the prices folks have previously estimated on these boards. (army figures)
At this price, the entire DoD opportunity represents a volume of 2.5-3.3m seats. Again, that is about a half to a third the volume folks have previously estimated on these boards. (DoD total value at army price per unit)
So this gives a range of multipliers for investor (as opposed to Wave) exuberance of 4-9 times the size of the market.
Wise for us all to be a wee bit more cautious in our speculation?
Or maybe the folks who argue that the harbour is safe will now take a different view.
- whatever SS's sins of delusional grandeur, it looks like the company to investor layer of exaggeration is considerably larger.
