House members are usually considered toxic from a running mate perspective. They make a lot of votes and develop a pretty thick records. Govenors, Senators, Ambassadors, ... not so much, but a dozen years in the house is going to be some votes.
This is going to get brutal during the next few months. Every failure of the House to move on legislation is going to be fixed to the Romney campaign via Ryan. Ouch.
