The Placebo effect can cut medical costs in half.......Now!
Anti depressants are used by 10% of the US population,
the number one prescription drug,sales over $11 billion
...while medical studies show them as no more effective
than a placebo,in up to 100% of cases.

Lots of operations can also be replaced by placebo ops,
which again have shown to be just as effective as a
real operation...........

It's not about helping people it's about fleecing people....

tweaking i agree with. but these things go into and out of balance depending on the economy.

the real problem is the spectacular growth of medical costs, which consume 16% of gdp rather than the 10% they reasonably should. imagine a us without that burden and many things will be well.

so restructure that industry and put pressure on medical costs so they gradually reduce over time.

and stimulate this economy back into life. build useful infrastructure. it works.
