Hi csl,

Well, I was really talking about the clutch of folks with Nobels. A fair number of those are not on the right. Danged Swedes keep choosing liberals!!

As regards the success of the stimulus, as I understand it 13 of the 15 academic papers that have examined it say it at least appeared to do some good.

I know that doesn't fit your theory of how things ought to be. But then that is my gripe with Republicans. The theory doesn't fit the facts then the facts must be wrong.

Anyway, good for you for posting in this venue.

We will pretty much have to agree to disagree.

Whatever charisma Obama may have been granted has long ago been exhausted. I know people that voted for him that now switch the channel when he appears on the screen or at the sound of his voice. The "smarts" thing...not seein' it.

I suppose your definition of REALLY smart liberals is code for Keynesians but it is an oxymoron to me. I am hoping Vice President Ryan will ask Ron Paul for advice.

I think the ditch we are in has become so deep it can't be fixed in four years so I think Romney will facr a really tough re-election in 2016. I am sure he will not be facing Biden and replacing him with Hillory may help Obama now and would certainly help Hillary in 16.
