The Republicans clearly plan to pretend Obama has cut Medicare (rather than reimbursements to providers) in order to muddy the water. Usual tricks. They'll probably put $100m into ads in Florida to confuse retirees. Bound to be the strategy.

It is now an election between the left of center and the far right.

It is the challenge of the far right to cast it as an election between the center-right and Marxism.

Is is the challenge of the left of center to cast it as an election between left of center and the far right.

I expect that it will be easier to cast the election as what it is as opposed to what it is not ... but the far right does have more money.

They will need it.
