Romney seems to have made a "last ditch effort" in choosing Ryan. He was on the way downhill and knew it. Ryan just adds to his burden IMO. Maybe they'll get a temporary bounce but short of an Obama blunder &/or massive "swift boating" I don't think he'll overcome his deficit. I haven't seen any poles on this but I sense major voter fatigue w/ this election. The GOP memes don't appear to have any traction except w/ their base. Heck even Fox poles show Romney in trouble and when they can't spin it, it can't be spun. It may be early but there seems to near agreement that Fla. is now lost as a result of the pick. I made a small bet w/ a conservative friend on Obama when Romney got the nod. I feel even more confident I'll win it.
