We live in the red part of blue state Illinois, the deep south far from the democrat bastions of Chicago. In church this morning we casually and offhandledly mentioned to a friend who turned sixty five yeasterday and got his medicare that if Romney and his running mate were elected that he might not have medicare much longer. He replied that he did not know about Romney and several others close by echoed those sentiments. This church is very conservative and not traditional Obama territory. All we can tell for sure is that they were willing to discuss what is usually an a;most forbidden subject and that Romney and particularly Paul Ryan are not playing well in southern Illinois.
