Hi Joe,

Muffin knows he's falling behind. I see this as an act of desperation to try to stop the bleeding.
'Desperate' VP choices don't work. Look at the history, Palin, Lieberman etc...

Ryan has ZERO foreign policy creds, and a long voting history. He is part of the 'obstructionist House' and will be hammered on this.

Muffin doesn't have any foreign creds either.
Hasn't ever visited the troops, yet boasts about visiting Israel...

With Mitt Romney's pick of Paul Ryan, he has aligned himself completely with the Republican mantra of cutting entitlements and a strong national defense. Holding the announcement at the USS Wisconsin battleship site simply emphasizes this point. Paul Ryan is the poster child for cutting government spending and so especially voucherizing medicare for those under 55 years old. We will see if there is any mention of repealing the Bush tax cuts and creating some of the revenue that the neoconservatives have been starving the nation of over these many years and that have created this problem that they want to so harshly solve. It looks to us as if Romney thinks that this is going to be a turnout race and he thinks that his base will turn out with this further move to the right!

IOVHO,

Regards,

Joe
