My understanding is. If it is only those POS providing their "liquidity". The "Investor" as we understand them, has no chance against the million/billions of trades a day these chumps are capable of......They care not if a stock price goes up or down, they get their rebates for making their so called "Liquidity". They contribute NOTHING, they just scalp chump change off every trade you do. Like a post I did a couple days ago, Algos scalped his trade 14 times in a mill second by the time he pushed the buy/sell button, He was ripped off/scammed 14 times, in the blink of an eye. That's not being a participant of a healthy market, that is a crook/scalper.
AS their efforts increase to scalp anything that breaths, They will kill anyone's hope of getting an honest shake in this SCAM of a market. I think they already have....... I hear everyday now, how volume is the lowest it has been in a while, since the HFTing houses popped on the scene. It is ONLY them, the very few that make the volume of the markets.
