For the fun of it
I have decided to try increasing the voltage on the video card and see if that works.

If not, THEN I will need to replace the power supply.

I discovered Friday that the folding client was not folding but had paused itself for 24 hours. It had tried unsuccessfully to start and run multiple times but to no avail.

One of the things it said in the log was UNSTABLE MACHINE.

THAT points fingers right at the power supply. And, come to think of it, until I changed that supply here at home with that same GTX 460, I was having trouble here as well.

Soooo, I am thinking since I am not generating points from that spare machine that it likely errored out again and has not restarted.

I'll find out tomorrow.
