What is traditional to you may not be to others... So far it's the religious whackos pushing their idea on the rest of us, plus their own homophobic biases... The rub comes in when it gets to healthcare and other legal issues.
The religious whacks want blind obedience to their point of view, I'd as soon close the door on all of them, take away their tax breaks, make marriage simply a civil contract, open to all gender mixes... All the same... Give up on the religious crutches!
But for now it's big business, and the books are hidden, open 'em up. Prosecute the rapists, child abusers, drunks... Regardless of religion.
Im hitting 50 years on this, my first marriage, gay or not doesn't make or break it... Lots of good gay friends in committed relationships that are being screwed out of what would be normal benefits... So the current crop of creeps need to get screwed, really. Literally. And as idiots, they need to be committed.
So yes, marry your cat, beats killing it.
