I have another power supply to stick in there. A tad stronger than that one.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Yes sir, I would opt for surgery if there is relief involved and it give me back a normal life where I can at least do normal things. We'll see. They always have to monkey around with the lesser stuff first which is a waste of time and money.

Finally we get to the point where nothing else worked so performing the surgery is now the right thing.

WHY do they do stuff like that? Drives me nuts.

the best,

micro....

Yes of COURSE you should have surgery if the odds are high that it relieves the pain. This from a guy who dislikes doctors too.

Oh you meant opinions on the power supply, ok. Razz
That p/s should be enough, but lots of things should do stuff that they don't. I know you don't have a stronger one to try or you would have already, that's obvious. I remember you musing initially if that were the culprit, looks like you've eliminated most everything else and since we know it's not the card itself because it ran in the home machine, maybe the p/s 's just plain out defective.

You realize however that if you buy that monster you linked, I will dog you mercilessly until you stretch it to its max with video cards. j/k

Before anything that involves money, can you get a loaner p/s, or at least bring in the one from the home machine for a day? That would eliminate all the variables if it works, if they haven' been already that is.

Through all of this, I note your ppd have recovered, there's always a bright spot to find.

Hope the doc has something for you tomorrow Thumbs Up
