San Antonio Airport evacuated over bomb threat
By NBC News wire services
Both terminals at San Antonio Airport were evacuated due to a bomb threat inside the parking garage, officials said Wednesday.
A caller reported the threat at 3:19 p.m. ET and mentioned three devices, according to the airport.
On its Twitter feed, San Antonio Airport posted: "We are evacuating the terminals at this time."
After a search found no explosives at the smaller terminal, ticketing and baggage areas there reopened but not the concourse and flights have been suspended, an airport spokesperson said.
The larger terminal was still closed and being searched.
Police were focusing on three cars in the basement level of the airport's short-term parking lot, NBC affiliate WOAI-TV reported.
This is a developing story. Please check back for more details.
