FWIW ... an Israeli friend of mine once said Israel has a higher per capita GDP than Saudi Arabia, I thought he was bonkers ...

Israel: 30,975 (26th)
Saudi Arabia 24,237 (39th)

Given time for reflection, Romney doubles down on dumb.

This new quote surely belongs with Dan Quayle's potatoe in the all time list.

Okay. So Romney thinks Saudi Arabia is richer than Israel because it has an advanced culture. And that Israel's sanctions on trade in Gaza have no impact on GDP.

Just how dumb is this guy?
