re: "I, For One, Wish That The World Would Get On With Whatever Is Coming Next"
I've said the same thing.
But, in my saner moments, I realize that it's a pretty stupid statement given that "whatever is coming next" may be far worse than any of us expect. Grantham probably views himself as well prepared against just about anything. But would he be as glib if "whatever comes next" means that a few of his family members will die from it?
I understand his frustration and impatience. But he and I both need to realize that an abrupt collapse will undoubtedly be a nightmare. It is NOT to be "wished" for.
That said, I *do* wish we would hurry up and start recovering. It's just too bad that the collapse I dread must occur first.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
