I am very happy with the win. I would have preferred a complete win, but I will certainly take what we have. Nok still has options that will cause further delay, but before this decision we were staring at a complete loss. We are far better off today than we were yesterday. I agree with your post about going after Foxconn with both feet. This reversal may give the company more incentive to initiate some action. Maybe Wistrom will get them off the fence.
One thing that IDCC followers have learned is that you can never rely on the oral argument stage of an appeal. Our attendees believed Judge Newman was totally in our corner.
We have had two days in a row of good news. I would prefer the scale lean that way than balanced.
