Seems like every trip we pick up head colds or such, maybe spread them, too I guess... Half our ship was sniffing, sneezing... All sorts of sanitizer stations, but we're also hitting every museum, cathedral, monastery in Russia! Well worth it, tho... Met some folks from central WA, of the fellow passengers, everything from a neurologist, still practicing, to liquor distributors, to New Zealanders, Aussies, Canadian, now he was their Food Safety guy, a nice Greek American couple from SoCal, whole batch of IL teachers and spouses, a retired GM Quality Control wheeler dealer, Quite a mix... All, particularly the foreign folks are watching our election scramble... Only one said, he'd voted for Romney Senior, he's voting for Mitt.. That was the geezer from GM...
Yea, and tomorrow morning my wife and I are driving up to Washington state to try and fix-up my mother-in-law's house enough to put on the market. The appraisal came back with a lot of things identified that really should be taken care of before we try to put it on the market. We plan on staying until August 12th unless we get things cleaned-up early. We are not taking her mother with us this time, we will be putting her in the respite home until we get back. Last year's vacation, the first that we had in 4 years, was cut short when our granddaughter became ill, so this is the first time that we will be away together for some time. Granted, it's a sort of 'working vacation' but it will still be nice getting away for awhile. But then when I get back, I immediately leave for Connecticut to visit some customers.
