KTC,

I have the same insurance since 1990. The coverage is based on the nationwide median. Obviously medical care in NY is MUCH higher, so I hardly use it but keep it just in case. Last time I put a claim in was for a mammo 5 years ago, because they weren't required to cover them after that.
I hope they are required NOW, not for me so much but for the many other women at risk.
That's not magical that's logical, catch it BEFORE it becomes more costly & life threatening.

I've used CVS for minor issues, flu shots & severe poison ivy. They have a physicians assistant on duty at several nearby. Very practical & not a long wait.

Joe:

Many liberals believe that Obamacare is magic, and those currently without medical insurance will not demand more care after they are covered. I guess liberals don't know many poor people, and the medical neglect they suffer. Too many presume that medical care for the poor is always provided free and without hassle because emergency rooms are required to treat them. Most poor people and people without insurance are not totally indigent, do not use emergency rooms exclusively, and are unable to pay anything towards their medical care. They get dunned for payment by collection agencies also.
