CD,

Yes, you have hit the highlights of the Sammie PR to a "T(PM)", and I hope it rings less hollow than nearly all previous Wave deals. I in fact like this one more however I've been thru the rigorous WAVX conditioning regimen over the years and personally would have opted for something with more teeth. As my 11yr old said " Yes, I know I previously told you that I love it BUT what I didn't tell you is that I actually hated it more than I loved it".

Day time mob job? Must work on the Hill. Lots of ying & yang forces up there this time of year. I've heard their yingyangs are actually overflowing..... all downhill of course.

Stay thirsty my friends. Enjoy the weekend. Alea's got his "great country counting machine" going.

Good questions.

Yep, no $'s attached to the announcement for the 15 year contract and no $'s attached to the partnership by Samsung with Wave to have a custom version of Wave's software on all Samsung TPM's to be made for Samsung existing and future platforms as well as those TPM chips to be sold to Samsungs OEM's.

If you see what took place with Broadcom and Wave in securing Dells PC's with the TPM and Wave's software, well my mind says in the absence of public Domain knowledge, would Dell allow Wave to give Samsung (a device competitor) a free ride while Dell has basically kept Wave alive for the last few years (I know investor cash as well including mine is involved in keeping Wave going).

Point is, Samsung is involved with Wave on the SED/TPM side as well as their PC's (maybe washing machines for all I knowSmile)

Nist/DOD/NAC and all the rest has not amounted to a hill of beans (yet) as far as those rich royalties for managing end point devices (SED's/TPM's) in PC's let alone the mobiles that will take another year or two to seed the market.

Not my fault it has taken so long but you know what, I'm sticking around til X-mas 2012 and if nothing is happening by then that involves Wave and this TCG shift to hardware security, I'm going back to my day job with the mob Laughing Laughing
