Brilliant, best ideas are always the simple ones. My 550ti runs at least 20 degrees cooler than my 465's, I bet that does it. I was going to say BUT get somebody to carry it for you but it's been a long day and I've realized you know how to actually move cards back and forth and not move the whole machines, lolol.

I had an idea. After messing with this here at home I decided to unplug the GTX 460 "hotbox".

This thing folds at temps in the 90's.

Seems no matter what I do I cannot get it believe 90.

And the LAG time delay in operating the computer is pretty bad as well.

So, it is getting a new home.

I'm taking it with me to work tomorrow.

I am going to switch it with that ZOTAC 550 Ti in the extra pc there.

I don;t think that ZOTAZ runs nearly as hot as this one and may not be the resources hog this one is either.

So I am hoping my computer here will operate more smoothly with less heat in the office.

She is right. When you walk into this room in the morning it is like a sauna. There is no air return in here since it is in the hallway outside the door.

So I'll try to tackle this problem from a different angle this way and see what happens.

This way you know why my output is not so good this week!

the best,

micro...
