Here's the top of the tree with the split trunk. It's being supported by a far smaller tree.

Interestingly, this photo makes the lean look MORE extreme than it does when you actually see it. Perspective is everything, I guess, but this pic reenforces my wonder that the tree is still standing at all!

Again, my concern is that this tree is going to mostly come down in a neighbor's yard. The neighbor has a swimming pool and a playground, either of which could be hit.
