Nope.
On that one I'm going to have to disagree with you.
Oh, I agree those living off the largesse of the
taxpayers should not be voting.

But what about apartment dwellers?

Hard working folks who deliberately decided they'd
rather pay rent than have to deal with lawn mowers.

Face it - tax issues would pertain to the aparment
building they live in.

That is pretty amazing stuff from a 21 year old.
I agree with her one hundred percent regarding all the points.

ESPECIALLY the last one.

If you receive "FREE MONEY" from the rest of the TAXPAYERS you have no right to vote.

I'll teka that one step farther on a State and LOCAL level.

If you are not a homeowner and not directly subject to property and real estate taxes, you are not allowed to vote on TAX issues that raise them. Only the people who are directly affected should be allowed to decide whether they feel they can afford to DONATE more of their hard earned money toward the ever expanding and never satisfied spending habits of government or its agencies at ALL levels.
