I guess you've forgotten Bush I. He was pro-choice when he campaigned against Ronald Reagan. Then he decided he wanted to be Vice President and had a miraculous change-of-heart between the end of his campaign and the day Reagan selected him as running mate.
It was pretty nauseating.
I suspect Condi is equally political. She'll become pro-life when doing so suits her.
BTW, it is relatively easy for a pro-choicer to become pro-life for real. I did that. All it took was some consideration beyond what I was capable of as a 9th grader - when I decided I was pro-choice. It was quite a bit later that I took the matter up again and realized that I'd made a serious mistake.
Moving the other direction on the abortion issue is FAR more difficult. All but impossible, in fact. One cannot very well UNconclude that something has a right to live - unless, of course, the subject had no sincerity or scruples from the get-go. Politicians and lawyers flip their positions on abortion regularly.
