Hi wavydog,

You know, I like you. So I am not going to go down that road you want me to go down.

An alternative idea for you. Provide the evidence that disproves my opinions. That's my model for changing them.

It's the truth that matters. And being open to the embrace of inconvenient realities is what I have asked of you.

Also show me I am wrong and I will change my mind. And I will be richer because of it.

Meanwhile, I really recommend you read the links I have provided and if you think any of the facts are awry, let me know.

Today's fact - Republicans and Democrats have much the same idea about what kind of income distribution would be ideal. Why not start one's social strategy with that as a goal? Rather than accepting the status quo.

So all thoughtful people will eventually agree with you? And those who disagree will either change their minds or be ignorant forever? I think that you're missing something. You fail to see that you are not immune from having your interpretation of data or decisions on what data to look at effected by your worldview. You are the first intelligent person I have ever heard make the claim to holding no pre conceived notions.
