Oh man, that isn't good! I already need to lose some weight, not gain more. I'll have to have a chat with the orthopaedist about this.

Is the steroid injection into those two spots where the spurs are an "epidural"? I had not heard it called that before so now you have got me thinking.

Maybe I could just go from strong pain pills to medical weed??????? lol!!!!!!!

those shots (epidurals) have an upside of reducing the pain, but they do not fix the problem. The lack of pain will also allow you do do things to cause some serious injury. When ya get the shots you will feel better, but don't over do it. Another thing, the shots will do for ya is make ya gain weight and that's whether you eat more, eat less, or eat practically nothing at all. I have a relative who has had them and every time they get one they gain 20-30 pounds.

It's better than surgery though.
