Look at the recent purchase by Dell of QSFT, to see what could easily happen with IDCC. Private equity made the first bid, then other bids followed, with Dell finally winning out. With Amazon and Facebook entering the smart phone market, things only get better for IDCC, who is in the sweet spot for 4g LTE. Waiting for the next patent sale, and completion of the buyback, may not be an option for companies interested in acquiring IDCC. The demand for patents will heat up again, and I think more companies than we thought, liked what they saw when they peeked under the skirt. JMO
