Hi dig,

Sadly, I agree. Wave has made this opaque. But it looks like there's no clear timeline for Trusted Android at this point.

Nevertheless, I expect Trusted Windows also to encompass Win8 phones.

So a very nice opportunity for Wave to secure more of the enterprise for Windows. And if MS makes a major push for the enterprise phone market, and it competes with RIM on the basis of the TPM, then Wave is in a neat position.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more the order makes sense. An interoperable VPN-participating, cloud-linked, MS Office-enabled trusted phone, tab, pc combo makes a brilliant expansion for MS and a "really cool" environment for a random TC enterprise software provider.

the tpm/mtm/se/sim circumstance doesn't seem ready for primetime for mass deployemnt of Wave. The Galaxy Tab demo obviously encourages the opposite thought, but it seems a ways out whereas samsungs move into ultrabooks byod w TPMs and SEDs etc looks very clear immediate and purposeful.

Hence i'm thinking a few million nearer term, more latter.
