Thank you Ross Perot ;))

Romney has been an empty suit, his plan, DEregulate.
This after his friend/CEO from Barclay steps down.
By the way that CEO also just stepped down from co-hosting a campaign funding event for Muffin.

Vanity Fair has a meaty article, Where the Money lives, all about Romney.

I want Sarah Palin to call me a dingbat ... not as a consequence of scrambld content, but in the clear.

Then I will have lived.

On a different note it does seem that Justice Roberts has begun to chart a course of less judicial activism ... a point that remains to be better demonstrated as certainly Citizens United was a case of the court telling the people they are not allowed to govern on matters of political money and that such money is speech and hence unlegislatable.

the American electorate while still deeply skeptical of Obamacare, is even more skeptical of anything Romney pretends to offer as a substitute.

On a number of issues that while there is an anything but Obama feeling out there, the fact is folks are even more distrustful of Romney.

It seems team Obama is slowly starting to fuel the whole "o.k. you don't like me, but can you even slightly trust this guy?"

I think in the end, Romney's lack of a trusted base will be his undoing. The right doesn't really trust him, the workers don't really trust him, obviously his dog has trust issues ... these are not the sorts of things that get one over the hump to defeat an incumbent.

Reagan was this and that, but folks had a sort of trust for him. That Clinton beat BushI is a remarkable achievement, truly remarkable. Ford existed to be beaten, and he was.

When one trolls the history of one-termers, the challenger it seems to me always embodied something entirely nonthreatening, something trustable even if credentials were perhaps weak.

In the end, the guy from Bain, the author of Romneycare, they guy who stood against auto-bailouts and the guy with all the telegenic coziness of an ice-queen, the Mormon, ... he will have only money to punch him through. No love, no trust, no legacy that he can fully embrace, only legacies he half embraces and half hides from (Bain, Romneycare) ... it seems team Obama should reasonably be expected to be able to defeat this guy.

I have expected Obama to lose for some time. Maybe the money will still make him lose, but currently and for the forst time in months, my money is with the community organizer. I think the guy is going to win.
