The cost curve of medicare is beginning to exceed the revenue curve ... I thought everybody knew there was a baby boom in America, and there would be a day of reckoning where the number of old people versus the number of paying young people was going to be a problem.
That speaks towards demographics, not towards a broken system.
Of course Medicare is popular, it's also banrupting our country. When that happens I would assume (another very strong assumtion on my part) that it's popularity will fade to some degree. Amazing that all of your arguments are based on pure facts and not affected at all by any preconceptions whereas I can only spout dogma. By the way, you totally ignored my witch doctor idea.
